IADC 111, 113, 115, 117

Very soft ground

Used in clay, silt and mud-like soils. This series has the longest teeth. Available with ball-journal, felt-journal and felt friction bearings.

IADC 211, 213, 215, 217

Moderately soft formations

Advances quickly in gravelly and alluvial ground. Available with ball-journal, felt-journal and felt friction bearings.

IADC 231, 233, 234, 235, 236, 237

Abrasive formations

Closely spaced hardened teeth, diamond-reinforced for abrasive formations. Ball-journal, felt-journal and felt friction bearings.

IADC 415, 417

Soft rock and lower formations

Should be run at slow speed. Felt-journal and felt friction bearings.

IADC 435, 437

Soft rocks

Smaller primary tooth tips for faster cutting. Use at slow speed. Felt-journal and felt friction bearings.

IADC 515, 517

Soft to medium-hard formations

Shorter, more closely spaced teeth. Use at medium speed. Felt-journal and felt friction bearings.

IADC 535, 537

Medium-hard and abrasive formations

Shorter tooth structure for harder rock. Used at medium speed. Felt-journal and felt friction bearings.

IADC 635, 637

Hard and abrasive formations

Short conical teeth for crushing under continuous weight. Used at high speed. Ball-journal, felt-journal and felt friction bearings.
